Elke Neidhardt

Elke's contribution to the arts in Australia will live on through her body of work, particularly her many productions of opera including the first Australian production of Parsifal, her 2004 production of Der Ring des Nibelungen, as well as Il Trovatore, Don Giovanni, Werther and Tannhäuser.

We will miss her intellect, her humour and her warm and generous nature and our thoughts are with her son Fabian at this distressing time.

A celebration of Elke's life will be held early in 2014.
