Nicholas Carter conducts the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in a programme of Sibelius En Saga, Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 2 with Alexander Gavrylyuk and Shostakovich Symphony No. 5. Adelaide Town Hall. 1 December at 20:00 and 2 December at 18:30.

Andrew Goodwin performs Handel Messiah with Sydney Philharmonia Choirs. Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House. 14 and 15 December at 20:00 and 16 December at 13:00.

Pacific Opera’s final performance for 2017, Arias and Barcarolles, is a concert of French and Italian arias and ensembles featuring the music of Puccini, Delibes, Chabrier, Offenbach, Mozart and more, accompanied by Artistic Director Simon Kenway. Utzon Room, Sydney Opera House. 17 December at 15:00.

Simon Kenway conducts the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in the annual favourite, Spirit of Christmas concerts. QPAC Concert Hall. 22 December at 19:00, 23 December at 14:00 and 19:00.

The Wizard of Oz with Gordon Frost Organisation. Trudy Dalgleish: Associate Lighting Designer. Capitol Theatre, Sydney.
